Tattered Angels and Prima Marketing Inc have teamed up to bring you amazing creations each Monday in April. These two companies are near and dear to my heart. I have been working with Prima for over 3 years and Tattered Angels for a little over a year. I think every project I create marries these two companies in one way or another. An Artists hands features my beautiful daughter Malia creating a masterpiece. This little angel at 2 created the apron she wears to paint in and this has become her favorite pastime.
Prima Products used: the printed chipboard, flowers, Say it in crystals, lace, paintables, and chipboard alphabet.
Tattered Angels products used: Ornate frame and large flourish screens, regal chipboard, butterfly alphabet, and glimmer mist color; lime twist, cherry limeade, riptide, snow angel and dreamsicle.
I started by using the black lace as a border around the outer part of the large frame in the center of the page. The paper I chose was the backside of a paintable. I used the dreamsicle and cherry limeade with the large flourish screen and the just cherry limeade with the frame. I than cut the frame out, including the center area, and placed my picture behind the frame. I used the other pieces to create the tag and the mat. I sprayed one butterfly and the mirror with the cherry limeade and the other butterfly with the lime twist and riptide. The flowers were all white the large one was colored using the riptide. The small ones were colored using the CL and the riptide. I used the butterflies to emphasize the 2 main points her hands and her age. I also cut around the pictures and to add a layer of depth. The whole chipboard was covered in the snow angel to make it shimmer.
I hope you have a great day and do something fun and creative get inky and play.
Hugs
Michelle
