Prima Building Generations: Prima 6x12 clear album with inside pages cascading down the book creating a waterfall effect. The Urban Cosmos papers and vintage lace lend perfectly to a heritage album. I created this album for my mom where I pictures of myself and my daughter as a baby it shows generations of love. What was really special is I was able to find a picture of my mom as a newborn with my Grandmother. This was the first time I saw how much we all looked alike.

Techniques used creating your own picture windows, using the paper as cut outs, learning to work with clear, gold leafing, adding glitz and bling.

This class is a 4 hour class

The Prima paintables work perfectly with the tattered angels glimmer mist and water color pencils in this class you will work with canvas, paintables, duo stamps, say it in crystals, water brushes and water color pencils.

Ok now for my Big Surprise I am teaching at Scrap-a-Ganza in November. I am over the moon excited to go back to Holland. I love it there so much and this event will be so much fun. Waving to Monique counting the days.

Sorry for the lack of posting I have Pink Eye OUCH!!!!

 So I thought I had a reaction to working with alcohol inks on PETG. I ended up having my eyes swell up and feel like glass was in them after working with alcohol inks. I was sure it was a reaction but it did not go away just kept getting wors. So after a few small problems with doctors, I finally was seen today and yes as i thought Pink eye now I get to take steroids to get rid of the infection so fun i tell you. I hope to see btter soon this was the first time I could even look at the screen long enough to post.

On a lighter note the storm missed us, but guess what my parents asked if they could have my princess this weekend just in case. I said sure i did not want her in a storm and my eyes really hurt bad. They live in Vero Beach Florida where the eye of the storm just passed a few hours ago. I think next time I will keep her safe with me. i have been a nervous wreck all day. I want to go get her tomorrow but the weather might still be to poor to go get her.

Hopefully the sun will come out tomorrow so i can get my baby.

I have a secret and I have too wait a few more days to tell it.....

 I am so excited and get to formally announce my secret soon but not yet. I have some great teaching opportunities coming up in the near future. I also have a mound of projects I am working on and my desk is over flowing with creativity. I will start showing sneak peeks of new classes very shortly. I am planning on working on one of the tattered angels beautiful chipboard albums. I also see a princess castle in my future. I am teaching this weekend at
Strawberry Fields scrapbook shop in fort meyers. I would love for everyone to join me. This is my summer days album. I love creating projects that use so many handmade embellishments. So even transperancies are hand made.

All I Can Say is WOW I hope you are Going.....

Yesterday I was part of one of the most dynamic and productive meeting of the Minds. The crew from the Ulimate Scrapbook Cruise: Donna Downey,Heidi Swapp, Karen Russel, Teresa Collins,and Jim West had a 2 hour long pow wow. I can not tell you all the things discussed, but all I can say is this is one cruise you will not want to miss. As a teaser I will tell you the girls are going to create all exclusive projects. Yes you heard it right, we will break the mold afterwards. Plus super cool collaboration project. Oh my the list goes on and on. I am attaching Jims Post because he really explains it best. I am so excited to be a part of the cruise that will be talked about for years to come.

 On Scrap Maps My head is reeling after an incredible “pow-wow” with the teachers on our Ultimate Scrapbooking Cruise-Heidi Swapp, Donna Downey, Teresa Collins, Michelle Van Etten, Karen Russell and Margie Romney-Aslett. I am actually going to be a student for a change.

Patty Debowski, founder of TheDigitalScrapbookTeacher.com, is an accomplished traditional scrapbooker of more than 30 years. After seeing a beautiful digital layout in a magazine, Patty tried to find a digital scrapbooking book or class for Photoshop Elements, with no luck. Without any graphic arts training herself, trying to learn to digi-scrap was almost impossible and required endless hours of surfing the web and reading all of the traditional computer books that didn’t deal with scrapbooking. Unable to find anywhere that she could learn digital scrapbooking with Photoshop Elements, she volunteered to teach a class with a friend at her local Adult Education school. Along the way, Patty discovered many frustrated scrappers who loved buying the beautiful magazines with the great digital scrapbooking pages, but who wanted a book that would explain exactly how to get the same results. Patty is currently teaching Digital & Hybrid Scrapbooking & Card-Making classes at community colleges in Southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys creating hybrid scrapbooks and cards for her family and friends because she loves the ease of digital scrapbooking and the “lumpy bumpy” extras that traditional embellishments add to her cards and scrapbooks.
