Sorry for my bad blogging everyone here has been sick....

  Ok no real excuses just super busy and house full including myself of sick people. My little girl is getting over Bronchitus. So sad to see such a free spirit angel barely able to talk. I have been creating though for those of you going to the paper and co show you will love the classes. I have this little sneak peak of the my little dude album just a little teaser.

 I am also working on a couple of event samples. My newest clear album will be done by the end of the weekend. This one is called summer fun for me that means the beach or aquarium so my pics will be of that but for you it could mean anything you want it to.

Finalizing my schedule for the next few months but so far looks like this create samples for the booth Prima booth,create more samples for the booth Prima booth upto 30 plus depending on what shows up here and yes you guessed it even more samples for other booths. I have been asked to create items for Accu-cut booth and of course Tattered angels

North Carolina girls vacation with friends I have not seen in over 2 years some even more. We all lived in Pensacola together. No work all play for a whole weekend 24th-28th

August 2nd teach paintables at My Scrapbook Shoppe in the morning same day in evening teach paintables class at Strawberry Fields and than summer days album on Sunday the 3rd

Back to my scrapbook Shoppe to take class from Pattty the digital scrapbook teacher I am so excited.

August 8-9 open but possibly I will be in Dallas teaching

August 15-16 convention in Daytona

August 22-23 open

August 29-30 CPR Creative Photography retreat and class at Picture me perfect

Wow when I write it all down it seems like alot. Ilove teaching so this is more fun than work. I can do without all the planes but what can I say I love to travel.

I will be placing the classes up on my blog as soon as they are designed and if you would like a kit let me know.

I better get to bed we are going to the aquarium tomorrow for a day of fish and fun.

Texas you rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You Ricky for keeping me together

 Ok so I am sitting in a hotel room reflecting on this weekend, this was my last CKU. I had a few minor changes upon arrival but the classes could not have been better. I would love pictures of the class samples to post on my blog so please send them to me :) So here is a small recap day one of classes one of the papers I used on my hanging frame did not show. This was the one I used for all of my cut outs. So 20 minutes before class my TAs and i whipped together a sample. Enough to show the basics. By the end of the class these amazingly talented CKU women and men created true masterpieces. I plan on creatively procuring many of these ideas. I saw butterflies and dragonflies made from flowers, tons of unique cut outs, jewel pattern work in waterfalls, resembling inlaid jewelry, and many more. I hope to create a whole album featuring these CKU creations.

I taught 8 classes of the hanging frame at CKU ,but I also taught at Lonestar Scrapbooking. I had a great group of girls in both classes at this store. 

Building Generations class we created a clear album using the build a book this is a labor intensive class but it is so beautiful and worth the work. I want to see some finished albums I still have a few class kits left if you would like one email me. I will post pics when I get home. Karen yours will go out on Tuesday for sure along with a gift. Make sure if you purchased a kit you contact me if you have any problems. i can walk you through any of the steps.

Dream word book is way fun to teach everyone get so into all the extra design work in this book. I had a great group of funny ladies on a Friday night somehow everything turned to margaritas. I think it was the Friday night thing. I had so many books I was going to have to take home I made up kits. I only have 4 left and that is it. I can not believe that 45 are gone I gave a few away and one broke but still that was a lot of dream kits. I do want to say please ca;ll me or email me if you have any difficulties. I will be posting some helpful hints in a folder in the next few days.

 I also have more of the Texas Acrylic albums available if you wanted one and i was sold out.

After CKU Commencement I hopped on a plane for Dallas. I was teaching at the scrapbook barn in the morning a new signature series class. My love to paint paintables class. I will give you a full recap of this store and the class tomorrow. i am waiting for pictures so I can load them into the post. I will say Angel sure knows how to take care of a guest. www.thescrapbookbarn.com  is a family run operation and has a fun and talented staff. I was welcomed by everyone and treated like a queen. The beautiful canvases that these woman created were just breathtaking each one so different and so incredible. All the ladies embraced this creativity and created masterpieces.

NOW FOR A HIGHLIGHT OF MY JOURNEY I MET LAUREN FERGUSON

Lauren and I have been talking on the phone nightly since we the announcement of the Tattered Angels new DT. She has helped make this blog normal she just rocks. I love chatting with her for hours and the night before i left for CKU we talked the whole night while we packed. Both of us do not sleep before a big trip she was headed to GASC to teach. This is one talented lady check out her blog and be inspired. http://www.everythingaltered.com/  Ok so i get off the airplane in Atlanta and it dawns on me she lives in Atlanta and could be in the airport my guess was right and we were in the same gate. So we met and hugged and you would have thought we had known eachother are whole lives. We had lunch than she flew out. So half way through my trip she realizes my class in Dallas is less than 30 minutes from where she is located. She decides to pick me up well that was very interesting it was the blind leading the blind. I now know we are kinderd soles who have no sense of direction. WE stopped at what looked like a Mexican resteraunt to find out we were really in the wrong place we still had to go about 25 minutes down the road. It was funny we saw a sign for the beltline having no idea it runs though many cities we picked the wrong one.lol So once we got to the hotel we started to sort her luggage all i can say is oh my goodness this girl has got the goods. The bags were packed so high I could not see how we were going to pack all of it into 3 bags. We stayed up until 3:00 chatting and packing it was so nice to actually meet someone you have only talked on the phone with. Thank you again Lauren I had a blast and send me those pics chick.

Ok so I better go to bed got to catch a plan at 7:00 that means airport fun at 5:15.

Do you ever have a great idea that ends up just about killing you?

 Ok I know that sounds extreme but after the last two days this is how I feel. I decided I wanted to make each student in my sons class a lets keep in touch book. There are 11 students plus the teacher in his class. So I did little board books.Yes one for each student. I could have slapped these bad boys together but would not have been able to put my name on them. After one trip to the school to take the cuty pies pictures and than back home to fight with my dinosaur printer and 10 plus hours working on the books they are done. I do not think I will do them next year. I will post the pictures tomorrow I promise. I have to say it was a great way to use up my stash. i am also posting pictures of some class samples I have extra kits of and need to part with to add room for new kits. Oh the endless process of creating classes. Please if you are my friend remind me I am only one person. I tend to forget I do have true limitations.

on another note:Trisha and I have been so super busy working on new designs for the Build a Book. It is so cool seeing so many of our creations in physical product. As soon as the samples get here I will be in a sample creating mode for a few weeks. I think by the time the show gets here my hands will be worn to the bone. I am also excited to announce are name has been trademarked yeah...

I leave for Houston On Wednesday morning oh how I hate the airport part of traveling. i am carrying all my stuff with me. I am glad it will not be coming back with me 11 classes in 5 days I am so excited. My parents came and picked up are kiddos today and hubby and i went out. It was so nice to have quality time with my hubby. I like when we have the house to ourselves every once in while.

The Dynamic Duo was able to get together last week this time Diana was pregnant instead of me. Diana and I as most people in the industry know we have been best friends for years. we worked conventions together and taught 2 teaching tour's in the state of Florida together while i was 7 months pregnant. we have not seen each other in over a year, and it was just like old time. We scrapbooked at GIGIs and of course her booty got a lo done in 30 minutes that would knock anyones socks off and 3 hours later i was still not done. I still have to finish that lo... lol She just sent this picture to me nothing changes we just get older.

I better say goodnight I have a few more Texas albums to get done.
